Online test date to be advised by the Bank
Bank of Baroda, the public sector bank headquartered in Vadodara, has advertised 206 specialist officer posts on a regular basis under Advt. No. BOB/HRM/REC/ADVT/2026/15. Its Facility Management department takes 62 civil engineers in three grades — Technical Officer (JMG/S-I, 35 posts), Technical Manager (MMG/S-II, 21 posts) and Technical Senior Manager (MMG/S-III, 6 posts) — to look after the Bank's buildings, works and maintenance.
All three posts need a B.E./B.Tech (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering and post-qualification experience — 2, 4 and 7 years respectively — in executing or monitoring civil works, preparing estimates and maintaining building equipment in a bank, financial institution, PSU or private institution. Online registration ran from 6 to 26 August 2026 on bankofbaroda.bank.in.
Selection may include application scrutiny, an online test, a psychometric test, and a group discussion and/or interview. If the online test is held, it has Reasoning, English and Quantitative Aptitude (qualifying) and a Professional Knowledge test of 75 questions for 150 marks, with one-fourth negative marking. The test date will be announced separately.

How to Prepare for BOB SO Civil Engineer 2026
- 1Professional Knowledge carries 150 of the 225 marks and is the only test counted in the result — two marks a question, so it decides your rank. Reasoning, English and Quant just have to be cleared.
- 2Negative marking is one-fourth of a question's marks: a wrong Professional Knowledge answer costs half a mark. Skip what you cannot narrow down.
- 3These are premises and works posts. The notice's own job description is tenders and BOQ under CVC norms, contractor empanelment, measurement and bill payment, repair and maintenance of bank buildings and lease matters — so estimating, contracts, building materials and maintenance matter more than hydraulics or highways.
- 4The three qualifying tests share one 75-minute clock. Practise them together and keep a steady pace across all three.
- 5Selection depends heavily on shortlisting and interview. Keep your experience certificates ready, and prepare to talk through the works you supervised and the estimates and tenders you handled.
