Manager (Engineering) in the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board is recruited by the Telangana Public Service Commission. Notification No. 04/OG/HM/2026, issued on 18 September 2026, advertises 130 posts in Multi Zone-II — and reserves 80% of them for Civil Engineering graduates, which is about 104 civil posts, one of the largest officer-grade civil openings in Telangana this year.
It is a water and sewerage utility, and the syllabus shows it: fluid mechanics, hydrology and water resources, and environmental engineering carry the weight a water board's work demands, alongside the usual structures, geotech, transportation and surveying.
Selection is by a written examination alone — no interview. Paper-I is General Studies and General Abilities (150 questions, 150 marks) and Paper-II is Civil Engineering at degree level (150 questions, 300 marks), 150 minutes each, 450 marks in total, tentatively in December 2026.
