Instructions

• 1This paper follows the real GATE exam interface: 65 questions, 100 marks, 3 hours, sections General Aptitude and Civil Engineering.
• 2Three question types: MCQ (one correct option), MSQ (one or more correct options) and NAT (a number you enter on the on-screen keypad).
• 3MCQ: 1/3 mark (for 1-mark questions) or 2/3 mark (for 2-mark questions) is deducted for a wrong answer. MSQ and NAT have no negative marking and no partial marks.
• 4A virtual scientific calculator is available in the exam — a physical calculator is not allowed in GATE.
• 5The timer counts down and the paper auto-submits when time runs out. Do not refresh during the test; your answers are saved if you do.
• 6After submitting you see your score with the official answer key (and the accepted range for NAT questions).
