Screening test (both civil posts)notification p. 8
- Objective test of 100 questions, 100 marks, 2 hours; 0.25 mark deducted for each wrong answer, none for unanswered.
- Part A General (20 marks): general intelligence and reasoning, quantitative aptitude, general knowledge and computer awareness, English.
- Part B Domain Knowledge (80 marks): for Technical Assistant, based on the essential qualification (B.E./B.Tech Civil); for Technician (Civil), diploma-level civil engineering.
- The merit list is made only on the screening-test marks; ties go to higher Part B marks, then to the older candidate. The method of selection is tentative and the call letter will confirm it.

- Age and qualifications are counted as on the last date of online application (30.10.2026).
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD and ex-servicemen as per Central Government rules; departmental candidates up to five years.
- Candidates already in Central/State Government, PSUs or autonomous bodies must produce a No Objection Certificate at certificate verification.

- Fee per post and per specialisation: ₹2,360 for UR/OBC-NCL/EWS, ₹1,770 for SC/ST/PwD (both including 18% GST); non-refundable.
- Upload a colour photograph, signature, left thumb impression and a handwritten declaration in English as per the specifications in the notice.
- Call letters for the online test are downloaded from the institute website.
Syllabus: The notice gives the screening-test pattern (20 general + 80 domain) and says the domain part for Technician (Civil) is diploma-level civil engineering; it does not list chapter-wise topics.
