The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), an autonomous trust under the Ministry of Culture, is engaging one Consultant (Senior Engineer) on a purely contractual basis for one year. The person will be in overall charge of IGNCA's capital works and operation and maintenance, and will coordinate with CPWD. It is meant for retired senior engineers with at least 20 years of experience, not for fresh graduates.

Rolenotification p. 1
- The Consultant is overall in charge of IGNCA's projects (capital works) and of operation and maintenance works.
- While CPWD plans and executes the projects, the officer acts as IGNCA's engineer representative and ensures timely execution and coordination between IGNCA and CPWD.
- Operation and maintenance works are planned and executed through contracts; the officer advises on transparent procedures for tendering and award of works.

- Purely contractual engagement for a period of one year.
- Remuneration ₹70,000 per month, negotiable depending on work experience.
Selection processnotification p. 2
- Screening of the applications followed by a personal interview. There is no written test, so there is no syllabus.
- Only eligible candidates are allowed to appear for the interview, after verification of original certificates.
- If selected, two reference letters/testimonials from a previous employer or institution, obtained within the last month, must be submitted at the time of joining.
- IGNCA may accept or reject any or all applications without giving a reason, and its decision is final.
