Terms

Selection process

  • Applications are scrutinised and a list of candidates eligible for the further selection is prepared; selection is based on an interview of the shortlisted candidates.
  • KSRTC/CMD may shortlist only a limited number of candidates, based on the relevance of experience, academic achievements and overall suitability.
  • The notification also reserves the right to add other methods if required — a written test, group discussion or a skill test — and says the process will be decided as per the requirement.

Documents to upload

  • Updated CV, passport-size photograph (taken within six months), signature, and copies of certificates proving qualification and experience.
  • Photograph in JPEG under 200 kB, signature in JPEG under 50 kB; the CV and certificates in JPEG or PDF, each attachment not more than 3 MB.
  • For current experience, an affidavit with the details of employer, designation, period, nature of job and responsibilities may be uploaded; appointment letters and pay slips alone are not accepted instead of an experience certificate.

What is preferred

  • Familiarity with government procedure, designing of multi-storey buildings, AutoCAD, Excel and project management software, preparation of estimates using the PRICE software, recording in the measurement book / e-measurement book, e-tendering, bill preparation and supervision of PMC-related works gets weightage.
  • Conditions of experience and age may be relaxed for exceptionally qualified candidates.
