Krithi Karanth Becomes First South Asian 2026 Rolex National Geographic Explorer of the Year
Krithi Karanth, CEO of Bengaluru-based Centre for Wildlife Studies (CWS), is the first South Asian named 2026 Rolex National Geographic Explorer of the Year. Her work focuses on human-wildlife conflict, a key area for the four-decade-old CWS.
